Tim is the founder of Servus Leadership, an Executive Coaching and Strategic Planning company, with the purpose of striving for greatness by bringing out the greatness in others.
Tim has held leadership roles in a variety of organizations for over two decades. He is a Leadership Coach and Advisor with Lawrence & Company Strategic Advisors; a Certified Forum Chair and Modern Trusted Advisor with MacKay CEO Forums; a Certified Coach, Speaker, Trainer, Corporate Facilitator & DISC Consultant with the Maxwell Leadership Team; a Certified Facilitator & Trainer with the Extreme Leadership Institute; a Certified Dream Coach with the Dream Leader Institute, a Certified Consultant with the Virtuous Leadership Institute and a Partner, Advisory Board Member and former COO with JAK's Beer Wine & Spirits.
When not coaching in the boardroom, Tim can be found on the field, coaching high school football with the South Delta Sun Devils. He and his wife, Stephanie, reside in Tsawwassen, BC, just outside of Vancouver, with their six children.

This week we had a panel of our members kicking off the 2025 Ride for Hearing Event, scheduled for June 22, 2025.
The Rotary Club of Vancouver's Ride for Hearing is an annual cycling event dedicated to supporting the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community in British Columbia. Since its inception in 1985, the event has raised over $3.9 million for research, treatment, and care of hearing disorders.
The funds raised from this event have been instrumental in supporting various initiatives, including Cochlear Implant Research at UBC, the establishment of the Rotary Hearing Centre at UBC Hospital, and the BC Rotary Hearing and Balance Centre at St. Paul’s Hospital. Additionally, grants have been provided to organizations such as BC Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hearing and Speech Centre of BC, and the BC Family Hearing Resource Centre
Franz Gehriger gave an overview of the history of the Ride For Hearing Event;
Phil Webber gave an update of the current status of planning including communications with Vancouver Parks Board, the different routes that can be biked, etc. Barbara Welsch gave members numerous ideas on how to share the event with their networks and encourage friends, colleagues and family to participate & Ally Potel, from Flyberry Events - official event planner of the event shared her vision of improvements on the execution from last year.

The 40th Annual Rotary Ride for Hearing

Plans are presently being finalized with the Vancouver Park Board for this year’s Rotary Ride for Hearing – Really Three Rides: The Main Ride, The Family Ride and an Individual In-between Ride.
Rotary Club of Vancouver (RCOV”) has “a Once in a Generation Opportunity” to establish holding the bulk of the Main Ride in Stanley Park. Assuming our plans come together, the Main Ride will be a “Riders’ Ride”, challenging serious and recreational cyclists with 8 loops (i.e. 80 Kilometres or 10 kilometres per loop), or even more loops of riding around Stanley Park on the Road, while it being closed to traffic.
Approximately 20 kilometres are added on for the ride from the start, at Spanish Banks West Park to Stanley Park, and then, after the loops in the park (which must be completed by 9 AM when the Stanley Park limited road closure ends), cycling back to the Spanish Banks West Start/Finish and the Beer Garden Celebration hosted by the IRL Group.
Riders such as Franz Gehriger, Chris Motion and Friends, Graham Fox and Friends, Shoshanah Webber and the Dentons’ Team, Navid Morawej, Sandra Lowe, Bill Shultz, Mark Hirschi and the Salmons’ Team and many others – take note of what a great Ride this year’s 40th annual Rotary Ride of Hearing promises to be.
For those who ride individually or with children and grandchildren, there are other ride challenges to choose from:
Riding less than 8 loops of Stanley Park;
Looping around Pipeline Road to avoid the Prospect Point Hill and ultimately cutting back on the seawall past the Vancouver Rowing Club onto the path past the south shore of Lost Lagoon which leads to Second Beach and English Bay;
Avoiding the Prospect Point Hill by transferring to and following the Stanley Park Seawall Cycling route from just before the Prospect Point Hill; or
Riding in the Spanish Banks, Locarno and Jericho Beaches foreshore park Family Ride consisting of a 7.5 Kilometre Loop; which can be repeated.
The Rotary Ride for Hearing starts between 5:45 AM and 6:15 AM for the full Main Ride; sounds early, but trust us, nothing is better than an early morning bike ride along the seashore and around Stanley Park – soaking in the relative silence of the City as it wakes, the sounds of birds, the smell of the sea and the warmth of the sun as it burns off the sea mist and lights up the Northshore mountains and city scape.
The Family Ride starts between 7:30 AM and 8:15 AM so families have ample time to finish and join the Ride’s-end celebration and awards ceremony which RCOV plans to begin at 10:30 AM at Spanish Banks West.

We suggest that you recruit 9 Team Members as four members is a bare minimum and leaves no room for someone having to withdraw or failing to otherwise qualify.
The Rotary Ride for Hearing, a Ride for the ages, a Ride for all ages and a great cause; "helping the deaf and hard of hearing and families experiencing hearing challenges" as the RCOV works to –
