My partner and I are Rotarians from Adelaide, South Australia. We are coming over to the Rotary International Convention in Calgary, Canada in June. We are travelling for 2 months before and after and will be in Vancouver from July 4th, leaving on the 7th.
We are wondering whether any Rotarians in your club are interested in home hosting us for 3 nights and sharing your culture with us? We are very keen to immerse ourselves in Canadian culture.

Welcome to our guests, the YP's and the UBC Students, as well as our own members who have taken time out of busy schedules to attend this evening meeting. We are always grateful to see new faces - remember guests are always welcome at our meetings!
Program:
This week, we had a great evening of connection, collaboration, and inspiration! 🎉✨ Rotary Vancouver, the Young Professionals, and the UBC Interact Group met at False Creek Community Center for a powerful joint event that showcased the true spirit of service and leadership.
From the Young Professionals, Eric Peach, President, spoke on their behalf.
On behalf of the UBC Interact Group, we heard from Gurman Dandiwal and Hana Yu, Co-Presidents.
The UBC Interacts and Young Professionals shared details on their latest projects, recent successes, and ambitious goals for the future. From impactful community service initiatives to innovative professional development opportunities, it was clear that both groups are driven by a deep commitment to creating positive change in their community and beyond.
It was a special night to see Rotary members of all generations come together, exchanging experiences, ideas, and insights. The conversations sparked new friendships, strengthened partnerships, and reinforced our shared mission of Service Above Self.
It is heartwarming to see how our "old" members connected with the "young" ones. Mentorship is everything!

great food brings great people together!
This event was just the beginning of many exciting collaborations to come. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected, and service-driven future.
