Save the Date - July 7!!!
On July 7, there will be no regular luncheon meeting because Vancouver is hosting a game at the same time, making access and parking challenging—but also creating a great opportunity to join the citywide excitement.
Instead, members are invited to a club watch party at the Granville Island “Watch Centre”, where, thanks to Thomas Lancaster (CEO of Granville Island and soon-to-be newest corporate member), Rotary will have a reserved private section within a vibrant crowd of thousands of fans. An Eventbrite link will be sent out so members can register and help confirm numbers. All are encouraged to come out, enjoy the incredible atmosphere, and watch the game together as a club in this special setting.

Members and their families are invited to join Rotarians from across the Lower Mainland for the Steveston Salmon Festival Canada Day Parade on Wednesday, July 1, from 8:00–11:00 a.m.
Hosted by the Rotary Club of Richmond, this is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Canada Day, connect with fellow Rotarians from multiple clubs, and take part in one of the region's most beloved community traditions.
It was announced that on Saturday, June 27, there will be an awards and induction event at Continental Seafood Restaurant in Richmond to install incoming District Governor Dean Hsheh and celebrate outgoing DG Jan Gisborne.
As part of the evening’s program, District 5040 will present several awards, including Rotary Club of the Year, Rotarian of the Year, and various People of Action and District Governor’s Awards.
Our club has been nominated for Best Rotary Club in the District, and members were warmly encouraged to attend to show support and, hopefully, help celebrate a win. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner ($69), a band and dancing, a bar, and of course a few speeches.

A Wonderful Celebration to Close the Rotary Year
Our second final luncheon of the Rotary year was transformed into a memorable Mini Gala, bringing together nearly 60 members and guests for an afternoon of celebration, connection, and appreciation.
The event featured live music, great fellowship, and the opportunity for members to update their professional headshots while capturing the spirit of our club through beautiful event photography.
A heartfelt thank you to Emma and The Peanut Agency for generously providing outstanding professional headshots and capturing so many wonderful moments throughout the afternoon. We can't wait to share these images as we continue to showcase our vibrant Rotary community.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Terminal City Club for hosting us in such a warm, welcoming, and elegant setting. Their exceptional hospitality helped make the celebration truly special.
Thank you as well to our talented live musician, Zachary Saunders whose performance created the perfect atmosphere, and to everyone who worked behind the scenes to organize, decorate, coordinate, and bring this fantastic Mini Gala to life.
It was the perfect way to celebrate another successful Rotary year. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the afternoon such a memorable occasion!
