Welcome to our guests, new and returning, as well as our own members who have taken time out of busy schedules to attend. We are grateful to see new faces, remember guests are ALWAYS welcome at our meetings.

President Franco gave an overview of the Rotary Club of Vancouver’s 2024/2025 initiatives focus on three key areas:
Elevating Meeting Quality – A structured meeting format includes a high-caliber speaker session, member-focused meetings, philanthropy discussions, and social mingles to boost engagement and attract new members.
Implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System on the Board Level (EOS) – This system enhances clarity of vision, accountability, and traction, ensuring progress toward club goals. Tools like accountability charts, scorecards, and structured board meetings help maintain focus and will help the club to grow.
Launching a 10-Year Action Plan – Using the Vision-Traction Organizer, the club will define core values, set clear targets, and establish a roadmap for long-term success.
Induction of two new members, Mark Hirschi and Will Law. Welcome to the Club!

Bittersweet Moment - President Franco hands over the Charter to PP Paul Martin! We'll miss Franco, but we'll be in best hands with Paul!
Lastly, Franco was given 15+ flags from visiting Rotarians during his Presidency.
He also received his first Paul Harris Award for outstanding leadership of the Club!
Franco sincerely thanked his Board Members for their hard work and dedication to the Club.
Starting February 5, 2025, Past President from 1998-99, Paul Martin took over the duties of the President until President Elect Joan Posivy will take over Presidency later this year.
The Club will be in in greatly professional and knowledgeable hands under the leadership of Paul.
About Paul Martin
Paul joined the Rotary Club of Vancouver in 1987, the year after he started his business DTM Systems Corp.
Over his 38 years in the club he had served 14 years as a Board member and president in 1998/99, Secretary to Mary Laing in 2012/2013.
Paul as served on most committees during his time in Rotary and has been the unofficial RCoV auctioneer . Currently he is on the Ride for Hearing and Membership Committee and the is a director of the Foundation.
Paul and Heather have two children and 4 grandchildren; two in Halifax and 2 in Courtney BC.
Retired since 2019 Paul and Heather have done extensive global travel, including hosting tours to his home province of Newfoundland.
Paul’s hobbies have included Skiing, Hiking, Golf and Restoring Classic Cars. He is a Master Judge for 4 Automotive Shows through North America.
Paul and Heather have lived in North Vancouver since 1980.
