Welcome a visiting Rotarian from Fair Oaks Ranch Club in Central Texas for a meaningful Rotary Flag Exchange.
🏅 Present the Don Evans People of Action Award to two outstanding members – Parisa Adrangi and Rene Abi-Rached – in recognition of their exceptional contributions to our Club.
The Don Evans People of Action Award honours Rotarians in District 5040 who demonstrate exceptional leadership, service, and commitment to creating lasting change—locally and globally. Named after Past District Governor Don Evans, a champion of Rotary values and engagement, this award celebrates members who truly embody the spirit of “People of Action.” Presented annually by the District Governor, only about ten recipients are selected each year, making it one of the highest recognitions in the district.
Typically the award is presented by the District Governor at the annual District Conference; only about 10 awards are given each year across the entire District, making it a prestigious and selective honour.
All Recipients are celebrated as role models within the Rotary network for living out the Rotary motto: “Service Above Self.”
Parisa Adrangi received the Don Evans People of Action Award in recognition of her extraordinary dedication to the club, volunteering on nearly every committee and contributing countless hours behind the scenes. Her unwavering commitment, reliability, and passion for service embody the true spirit of Rotary and have made a lasting impact on our club’s success.
Rene Abi-Rached was recognized with the Don Evans People of Action Award for his countless hours of dedicated volunteer work on the Community Service Committee. His tireless commitment, hands-on leadership, and passion for making a tangible difference have had a lasting impact on both our club and the broader community.
