Ryan and Cindy Beedie are prominent Vancouver philanthropists whose giving spans education, housing, food security, healthcare, and support for women and children. They donated $22 million to establish SFU’s Beedie School of Business and launched Beedie Luminaries to fund scholarships for underserved students.

Cindy led the creation of Cindy Beedie Place, a supportive housing project for single mothers, and has supported women’s shelters and the Cause We Care Foundation.

Together, they’ve raised millions for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank through matching campaigns and warehouse support. Their $5 million gift to Delta Hospital is funding the new Beedie Long Term Care Centre for seniors. Cindy also contributes globally through the ONE Campaign, while both emphasize impactful, community-centered philanthropy.
