Rotary Kiddie Parade

All the KIDS had a blast!!! The Rotary club of Terrace Skeena Valley sponsored and facilitated the Riverboat Days Terrace Downtown Improvement Area 'Kiddie Parade' on August 6th. It was a great success with approx. 36 participants who decorated their bikes, carts, strollers and selves. Crystal started the parade with a bike safety talk, then Rotarian Carol Leclerc lead the kiddies in the 'show and tell' parade down the 4600 block of Lakelse Ave. in Terrace BC. Skeena Diversity Society Youth corps were a great team, charting the course in chalk, registering and judging. there were gift bags for all participants, winning prizes of Helmets and safety reflectors - and there was a Magician to entertain us before and after the parade!
