BIO

Emily Naula is an enthusiastic fundraiser and advocate for women and children. Growing up in Africa, she was exposed to various health epidemics affecting women and children. Having the change to work for Hawai’i’s only Women and Children’s Hospital has been truly rewarding for her. Emily graduated from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and earned her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. She joined Teach for America and taught in the inner city of Houston before joining Teach for American’s staff, which brought her to her home in Hawai’i. For the past 3 years, she was the Director of Development at Hawai’i’s largest all-girls Catholic school, Sacred Hearts Academy, until she started her position at Kapi’olani Health Foundation in May 2018.
