Special Guest Speaker: Mr. Roy J. Yee

Mr. Roy J. Yee, an esteemed electrical engineer and business leader from Honolulu, Hawaii, brings a wealth of experience and impactful stories from various sectors, including engineering, ship repair, electric industries, and community service. An alumnus of Oregon State University and a registered Electrical Engineer in Hawaii, Roy began his career with General Electric Company and later contributed significantly to his family company, KEMS Inc. His journey took a dynamic turn when he transitioned to Hawaiian Electric Industries, where he explored business opportunities in the Pacific Basin and was actively involved in economic development for Hawaii. A dedicated community leader, Roy worked diligently in support of Hawaii's Battleship Missouri Homeporting proposal, successfully bringing the Battleship to Pearl Harbor in 1998 as a memorial. Roy has also extended his expertise as a business consultant for entities like Raytheon Constructors and Engineers, the State of Hawaii, and Fluor.
