Special Guest Speaker: Brigadier General Moses Kaoiwi, Jr.

 

Brigadier General Moses Kaoiwi, Jr. is the Director of Joint Staff at the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) in Honolulu, holding this esteemed position since November 2017. A distinguished alumnus of the University of Hawaii at Hilo and the United States Army War College, Brigadier General Kaoiwi has attended a series of prominent military schools, enhancing his expertise in the realm of defense.

 

Throughout his illustrious military career, he has held significant roles including Commander of the 29th Infantry Brigade Combat Team in Kapolei and J3, Director of Domestic Operations at the Joint Forces Headquarters-Hawaii, among many others. He's been deployed in various capacities, notably serving as the Camp Commander at Camp Virginia, Kuwait, and the Assistant Brigade Tactical Intelligence Officer in Iraq.
