Special Guest Speaker: Dr. Keliʻi Akina, Ph.D.

Dr. Keliʻi Akina is an esteemed scholar, spokesperson, and a beacon of leadership in Hawai’i. A proud alumnus of Kamehameha Schools, Dr. Akina pursued his advanced studies at Northwestern University and the University of Hawaii. His expertise in East-West philosophy and ethics has positioned him as a sought-after academic, teaching in prestigious universities across China and the United States, including Hawaii Pacific University. Beyond academia, he has demonstrated his commitment to public service, having been elected in 2016 and re-elected in 2020 as the trustee-at-large for the state Office of Hawaiian Affairs. We look forward to an enriching discussion led by Dr. Akina, encompassing his vast knowledge and experiences.
