Membership Qualifications
You will make a great Rotarian if you:
- Care about tour local Hawaii community and want to be a part in making it better
- Are willing to use your time and talents to give to others
- Enjoy fun and fellowship with other business and community leaders
- Want to learn more about your community and the world through stimulating weekly programs
Membership Expectations
Participation: We have a strong, active membership. We understand members can’t attend every meeting or activity. However, active members benefit both professionally and personally.
Club Financial Obligations: To remain in good standing, club members must pay annual dues. The Regular Membership is $250 per year for Membership Dues to be paid annually, ideally on or before July 1st of the new Rotary Year. Additional costs like EREY, Paul Harris & Club Foundation
contributions can be paid throughout the Rotary Year.
Volunteer Service: Read to children, pack meal kits or backpacks, help facilitate our weekly meeting or service on a club committee. There’s something for everyone!
Financial Gifts: Our members contribute annually to the Rotary Club of North Hawaii. Through your contributions, we impact our community through a multitude of projects and initiatives.
Rotary International Support: As part of the larger Rotary International community, all Rotarians support Every Rotarian Every Year with a minimum contribution of $100.
Corporate Membership
- The organization shall notify the RCNH of any changes in its designees. Changes shall be sent in writing to the current Club Secretary.
- Any new designee must go through the club’s member nomination and approval process.
- Once approved, all designees are considered full RCNH members.
- Although attendance is not mandatory, attendance records are kept and all RCNH members are encouraged to attend as many club meetings, service projects, and social events as possible. These include live and virtual events, as well as events sponsored by other Rotary Clubs and/or Rotary International.
- Dues: the organization pays a minimum of $750 per year. This includes up to three (3) Members under the Corporate Membership.
- Any additional Members will be @ $250/Year and become full Members of the RCNH.
- Contributions are not required, but highly encouraged, either from the business/organization or from its designees’ personal funds.
