K.R. "Ravi" Ravindran is the President of Rotary International and represents nearly 1.3 million men and women members of 34,000 Rotary Clubs in 200 hundred countries and regions across the globe. He is in Honolulu to honor the Rotary Club of Honolulu on its 100th Anniversary.  The club was charted in July 1915 and it still going strong. There are 51 Rotary Clubs in Hawai‘i and each one is autonomous and makes a difference in Hawai‘i and around the world.

A Rotarian since 1974, Ravindran has served RI as treasurer; director; Foundation trustee; committee member, vice chair, and chair; task force member; RI training leader; and district governor.
