Guest Speaker Makina Chai spoke on SEXUAL HARASSMENT:

She is a lawyer and a teacher of Sexual Harassment and has a lot of experience in this field.
LEGAL DEFINITION - All 4 factors must be met for behavior to violate the law;
1. Related to sex, gender, or other protected classifications
2.Unwelcome -  must be perceived as such
3.So severe it interferes with work
The employer knew or should have known, and did nothing (IF a Supervisor harasses, this factor is automatically met)

POLICY:
Should set a higher standard than the law
Should allow complaints to any manager
Each workplace should have a policy

Question ??? Keiki Vision ? We should try to avoid touching the children.  "Aloha" can go to far.

Respectfully
Linda C.
