Ground Golf Tournament, November 7, 2014

On October 31st, members of the Kona Mauka Rotary Club volunteered at the annual fall Seniors Ground Golf tournament. The event was sponsored by the Kona Mauka Rotary Foundation. Over 100 seniors from across Hawaii Island came together for this fun event. Many of the seniors were 80 years and over and some had played for the very first time. Many were in Halloween costumes.
After the golf, lunch was served and prizes awarded.
Ground Golf is a variation of the traditional game of golf and in some ways is similar to croquet.
