Rotary Gives Thanks Day at Kahala Nui

This year Rotary Gives Thanks Day will focus on helping our kupuna and seniors.  Kahala Nui is putting on a play called the Penelope Project with itʻs residents and needs help painting a stage backdrop and sewing toga costumes for the actors.  We need the following groups of people:

1. A team to help paint the wooden backdrop.  The design will be drawn on the wooden backdrop.  We simply need people to help paint between the lines.  All materials are provided.

2. A few people to help sew simple togas out of sheets.  The patterns will be pre-cut and 1 sewing machine will be provided.  If anyone has additional machines or sewing skills please sign-up and let us know.

Hope you can join in on this unique service project.  The actual play premieres in January 2019.
