Rotary Club of Kahala Sunrise Adopt A Tree Well

Please join the Rotary Club of Kahala Sunrise for a community service project as we work to establish the RoCKS Tree Well on Waialae Avenue.  This is a team  "Trees for Kaimuki," project in partnership with EnVision Kaimukī, Kaimuki Business and Professional Association(KBPA) and the Honolulu City & County Malama O Kaʻaina.  The tree well is located in front of 3620 Waialae Avenue, which is between Koko Head Avenue and Center Street.

Team RoCKS will remove weeds, debris, cultivate the tree well area and plant new vegetation.   The project lead is Mr. Lot Lau, Kaimuki volunteer extraordinaire.

We will begin with a service project briefing, safety talk and the completion of a waiver form. The waiver form is attached for you to complete in advance and bring to the event.

Please wear your Rocks shirt and closed toe shoes and outdoor gear such as a hat, sunscreen, work/gardening gloves and water.  Also gardening tools for digging/planting will be helpful. RoCKs will have some tools on hand as well.
