Our guest is Love Chance, Owner and Creator of the Indigenous Soap Company.

Love Chance is the owner and creator of The Indigenous Soap Company and this year we are joyful to celebrate our 20th year in business! We hand craft organic bar soaps in Kaimuki, and from this location we vend to 100 stores statewide including Whole Foods and Foodland Markets. We use native plant medicines that are valued for skin care in our mixtures and have high standards in our sustainable ingredients.

The Indigenous Soap Company has life from the circle of relationships we cherish such as local farmers, artists, and small businesses alike. Our integrity starts on an individual level, so that the products we produce come from a team of people who care about health and well-being of themselves and their family.

Although Love Chance is part native an American, the word indigenous in our company goes beyond; it is a philosophy that we are all indigenous. Connecting to our genealogy and the place we call home provides us our kuleana, our responsibility, in the world. Being an indigenous business owner means living in two worlds; finding a place the spirit can reside with the balance of time.
