What is a Paul Harris Event? These meetings are a throwback to the beginnings of Rotary when members would rotate gatherings at each other's places of business. It's a great opportunity to deepen relationships with your fellow members. And have fun!
In July, the Rotary Club of Honolulu gathered to dedicated two Peace Poles at Palama Settlement. The Peace Poles are adorned in 16 languages, 4 of those are Micronesian, with the powerful message, "May Peace Prevail on Earth."
Rotarians and community members came together to celebrate the triumphs of peacebuilding and serve to inspire others to foster peace among people of diverse cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds.
Our Club remains deeply committed to working hand in hand with Palama Settlement to create positive change and build bridges of understanding in the Kalihi and Kapalama neighborhoods.
