Come join us for a game day cookout with the residents of Hale Mauli'ola.  Hale Mauli'ola is an innovative shelter serving houseless people on Sand Island.  RCOH will provide the grindz.  We need you to help run the grills, spend time with the residents and watch some football!  RCOH volunteers will be working with IHS to provide a BBQ lunch for the residents, play games and provide fun and friendship for IHS guests at the shelter.

You can read more about Hale Mauli’ola here. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the homeless issue in Honolulu. Please join us from noon to 4:00 pm in Rotary’s mission of service.  Bring your friends, family and prospective Rotarians!

On August 19th, the Institute for Human Services (IHS) is celebrating 45 years in the community with a Community Volunteer Day called Mālama Meetup.

The Institute for Human Services (IHS) is Hawai'i's leading organization in homelessness. With the largest shelters and medical respites on O'ahu, IHS is a safe place to sleep, get a hot meal, see a nurse, and receive housing support. They lead the state in behavioral health treatment for the most mentally ill patients on the streets, serving people who others will not.
