Hybrid Lunch Meeting - Roger Jellinek

Roger Jellinek has been Executive Director of the Hawai‘i Book & Music Festival (HBMF) since 2006. A graduate of Cambridge University, and a Mellon Fellow at Yale University, he has been involved in book publishing in New York and Hawaii as a journalist, editor, publisher and  literary agent since 1963. 

HBMF is a unique event in Hawaii. They strive to celebrate and honor books, storytelling and music in way that is fun, accessible, and memorable for people of all ages, backgrounds and tastes.  They strive to introduce Hawaii books and music to the world and to introduce Hawaii to new worlds of books and music. They honor our host culture, explore topics of community interest, and highlight the joy of life-long literacy for all of Hawaii’s people.  They strive to present an event that creates joy and excitement about our culture all year round.
