Pearl Harbor Heritage Trail Cleanup

All! Please join our friends at Rotary Club of Hickam Pearl Harbor for a repeat of our April Bike Path Cleanup.

Directions to Bike Path site near Ted Makalena Golf course:

From town, take the Waipahu cut-off, take the first left turn after Waipahu High School, heading down Waipio Point Access Road, toward the Makalena Golf Course and the Waipio Soccer complex.  Waipahu High School will be on the left, Waipahu Aloha Clubhouse next, then you’ll cross a small historic bridge over the old cane haul road and our area of the bike path will be where the Makalena Golf course starts on the right side.   You’ll see the bike path crossing with a crosswalk, so park on the right side of Waipio Point Access Road.

We will have water at the site, but please bring a hat, sunscreen, and your favorite garden gloves and rubbish pickers, but I will try to bring if you don’t have them. The work day is 8:00 to 11:00.  Also remember to wear covered shoes, mask and practice social distancing. 

This is a great project to make Hawaii a nicer place to be, but we will also get to know our fellow volunteers and have fun!
