Shellilyn Marie talks about L.I.F.E.H.O.U.S.E

After growing up sexually, emotionally, and mentally abused in the foster care system, Shellilyn Marie decided she had had enough. With memories of hogties, fist fights, belt lashes, beatings, burns, extension cord whips, sexual abuse, trafficking annd more at the hands of foster parents, she put herself through college in nursing and healthcare administration. She later started L.I.F.E.H.O.U.S.E, a nonprofit to help abanndoned  and trafficked children to provide them with education, housing, and a home life in an energy efficient, self-sustainable community. Join us to learn more about her story and her tremendous efforts on behalf of Hawaii's abandoned children.
