The Chattanooga Hamilton Place Rotary Club focuses on today's students who will be tomorrow's future Rotarians.  We do that in the following ways:

1.  Literacy Program - We sponsor a literacy program in which each week our speaker signs a children's book that we place into the library of local elementary schools.  Rotary has always placed a large emphasis on literacy, and our club is no different!

2.  Interact Clubs - Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills and  learn about the world through service projects and activities.  The CHP Rotary Club sponsors Interact Clubs at Silverdale Baptist Academy, Boyd Buchanan School, and East Hamilton High School.

3. Rotaract Clubs - Rotaract clubs bring together people ages 18-30 to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service.  Our club sponsors a Rotaract Club on the campus of UT Chattanooga.

4. Rotary Youth Leadership Awards - RYLA is a leadership development program for young people who want to learn new skills, build their confidence, and have fun. Events range from one-day seminars to weeklong camps.  Our club sends students from 5 different schools each year to the RYLA conference.

5. Rotary Youth Exchange - Rotary Youth Exchange builds peace one young person at a time. Students learn a new language, discover another culture, and truly become global citizens. Exchanges for students ages 15-19 are sponsored by Rotary clubs in more than 100 countries.  From time-to-time, the CHP Rotary Club has hosted an exchange student from another country.
