New Member Induction

Vivian Wu will be the first member to be inducted virtually in our club history. Members and friends, we need you to extend a warm welcome to Vivian.

Vivian was born in Taipei to a big family. She moved to Toronto in 1993 and attended Grade 10. After graduating from university, she worked in Toronto for a couple of years then worked in Shanghai China for a government project.

She became interested in working in Asian countries and decided to move back to Taiwan in 2003. Her job opportunites allowed her to work ibetween China and Taiwan. After she got married and started a family, she settled in Taiwan, she worked up the ranks to Brand Manager and had the opportunities to work in different organizations. These great experiences gave her valuable knowledge and a sense of self-achievement.

In 2013, she got a job offer in Vancouver. After moving to Vancouver, she eventually started her own business and the business has been growing steadily since.

She wants to join Rotary so she can continue contributing to the community same as she did in Taiwan. She is looking forward to join Rotary to enhance her knowledge, networking, charity activities, friendship and community involvement. "I must say that helping each other makes me happy and that's the spirit of Rotary" - Vivian.
