Come to join us to welcome our District 5040 Governor for his official club visit. He will be inducting our newest member Andy Lin and present Paul Harris Fellow to Hira Gaunder a Richmond community contributor.
DG Official Visit and Board Meeting
DG John Berry has been a member of the New Westminster Rotary Club since 1987, he was 3 times Club President, he has been active in many avenues of service in Rotary at club and District levels, especially in youth programs and supporting The Rotary Foundation.
Inducting Andy Lin
Our newest member has been a Senior Financial Planner with TD Wealth since 2012. Andy was born in Taiwan and immigrated to Vancouver when he was 5 years old with his family. He and his wife are very passionate about serving the community and their Church. He enjoys building strong and genuine relationships with people.
Presenting Paul Harris Fellow to Hira Gaunder
Hira (Eric) Gaunder was born in Fiji Island, studied in Canada, and earned his designation as a Certified General Accountant (CGA). In 2001 he started his company with 3 employees in a garage and grown to a 44,000 sq.ft manufacturing plant Hayden Diamond Bit Industries Ltd employing over 150 employees.
His priority is to give back to the community in the City of Richmond, also to support medical services for a better health care system readily available for everyone.
