District 5040 Governor Dave Hamilton Official Visit and Induction of New members
Dave Hamilton - District Governor 2020-2021DG Dave is a 30-year member of the Rotary Club of Tsawwassen and a long-time leader within D5040, he was our club's Assistant District Governor. DG Dave recently retired as general manager of the Delta Optimist, he is looking forward to travelling the province, virtually and in person, to visit the 50 clubs and meet the Rotarians responsible for making a difference in their communities and across the globe. His involvement in Rotary is a way of living up to one of his favourite quotes from Martin Luther King, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?” |

Albert Tsang new memberAlbert and his family immigrated to Canada in 1993. He is currently President of NTS International Group specializing in inbound tours from Asia. Albert has a degree in civil engineering and computer science in Taiwan, but took a total career turn and began his tourism career in Canada. With his daughter helping, he is moving towards semi retirement, but still travels to Asia 3 times a year to visit his clients overseas. Albert was President of Canadian Inbound Tourism Association Asia Pacific from 2005 to 2011, Director of Taiwanese Chamber of commerce BC in 2007 and President in 2010. |

Madeline Chooi Hermary new memberMadeline was born in Malaysia and worked in the hotel industry. After she got married, they decided to move to Canada. While her children were young, she and the kids travelled frequently to meet her husband during his business trips. When her two sons started participating in sport activities, she became a “Taxi Driver”. Then travel resumed when the boys decided to play competitive hockey. After the sons left home, she started her career in sales and enjoys meeting many interesting people. |

Patty Chen new memberPatty and her family moved to Canada in 1997. She is Vice-President of Quake Ready LLC specializing in Earthquake Detection Systems. Her past careers in Canada included co-founding Advance Lighting Technologies Inc., Now Real Estate Investor and RBC Personal Account Manager of Asian Market. She was Director and President of Taiwan Chamber of Commerce BC, President of White Rock Taiwanese Canadian Association, Director and President of Taiwan Chamber of Commerce North America, President of Distinguished Citizens Society International in Vancouver and also volunteered in many community organizations. |
