About the project

As worthwhile as they may be, not all projects can be about playgrounds and care-homes. Sometimes they are about what we are fortunate to consider as everyday rights and bare necessities.

 

Such is the project coordinated by Club Rotariao Guatemala Norte to bring bathrooms and sewage line connections to Joya Verde village, Fraijanes, Guatemala, to which we contributed US$2,000 in April 2018 as part of their US$180,000 Global Project.

 

The movie, "A Village at a Time" and slideshow will tell you pretty much everything. 

 

In case you are wondering, Joya Verde is Spanish for "green jewel".
