The weather held and many treasures were acquired
Inspired by a suggestion made by Past President Diane Rogers, this was our third annual Garage Sale and best one yet, bringing in just over $1,100, all to be donated to the Polio Plus Fund of The Rotary Foundation.
We received donations from all manner of different people and are very grateful to all. We are also grateful for the weather holding off - forecasts of rain and event thunderstorms had us holding our breath!
We didn't track closely but we had nearly 100 individual buyers of all ages proving our our pre-event claim to have something for everyone!
8.15am...and look at that dreary sky!
12:15pm and summer is here!
All our leftovers went to North Cariboo Métis Association for their Flea Market,
raising funds for new bingo equipment, something which will be of benefit to
us, too, given the Super Bingo events we hold in the hall during the year.
