Planning for a busy year

Although the new executive is elected in June of every year, the real business of Interact does not start until the new school year in September.  The first few weeks of school are all about re-connecting with friends, making some new ones and of course hitting the books in new classes. As a result, this year first meetings will not take place until early October.

Having said that plans are already underway to host Rotary Exchange students around the Central Interior for a weekend of activities on October 28,29 and 30 2011. In addition dates have already been set aside for a Northern Youth Leadership Conference in Prince George in late April of 2012. Preliminary participants include Disaster Aid Canada with a major camp out over the same time period.
