Rotary International Youth Exchange

Every year Yellowhead Rotary has sponsored a deserving student from the Prince George area to travel overseas under the Rotary banner to a foreign land for a year.  This past year it was Tanner Hines, who spent the year in Sweden. He has been back a few weeks now and gave us a brief overview of his time in a foreign land. In addition he presented President Leslie Gilchrists with a banner from his host club in Sweden. Tanner will be continuing his education by finishing his Grade 11 and 12 courses this school year.

The opportunity to travel overseas begins this September for those in Grade 9, 10 and 11. The interview process for leaving next summer will start shortly. Contact Ron Davis for more information.
