Adventures with First Responders began with a single conversation between a Prince George firefighter and a Yellowhead Rotarian — and quickly grew into an exciting one-day program for high school students. Through action-packed, scenario-based vignettes, teens experience the real work of firefighters, paramedics and police officers. They learn vital skills, explore career paths, and embrace the values of teamwork, service, and resilience. This hands-on experience connects youth with role models and builds community pride while addressing the need for first responder professionals.
