Adventures in Forestry and Environmental studies is an annual program developed for deserving grade 10 - 12 students to participate with 30 or more other students in learning about careers in forestry and environment.

Past participants in this program have, since 1990, gone on to universities and colleges on their first step towards a career in forestry or environment.  Students who complete this program are eligible to apply for an annual $1,000 bursary.

The adventure takes place over 4 days, May 22 - 26, 2019 and includes these activities:

Tours of sawmill, pulpmill, tree nursery, air tanker base, reforestation site and a bioenergy facility. Education facilities include College of New Caledonia, University of Northern British Columbia, and the John Brink Trades and Technology Center.
