On April 19, 2018 the Rotary Club of Giddings participated in a Rotary International project to plant trees for Earth Day. Our club voted to plant the trees locally at Simmang Park. The trees were purchased from Home Depot and potting soil purchased locally with the city helping out with planting to ensure everything met city standards.
