On July 6, 2017, the Rotary Club of Giddings held its annual end of the year celebration and officer induction. Joel Lopez took his oath as the President for the 2017-18 Rotary year. Other officers include Tom Ayres (President-Elect), Mark Johnson (Treasurer), Wayne Galipp (Vice President), Mary Lou Ross (Immediate Past President), Carol Bennett (Secretary), Denice Harlan (Club Service Director), Lisa Noack (New Generations Director), Haril Walpole (Community Service Director), Ricky Jorgensen (Membership Director), and Bob Mutschink (Seargent of Arms).
