2016/12/08 EA/FK Knighting Ceremony - Confidence
On December 8, 2016, Sir Keith of the Knights of the Guild honored 29 students at Giddings Elementary for exemplifying the character trait of Confidence. Two students were knighted for exemplifying the character trait of Honesty the previous six weeks. The knighting ceremony is a part of the EarlyAct/FirstKnight (EA/FK) program at GES which is in its fourth year this year. EA/FK focuses on teaching the virtues embodied in the knightly code of chivalry to the students for 10 minutes each school day and putting those virtues into action. EA/FK is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Giddings at no cost to the school. Congratulations to the students and their families!
