2014/06/19 Paul Harris Fellows Presentation
On June 19, 2014, the members of the Rotary Club of Giddings were awarded thirty, that's right 30, Paul Harris Fellows of varying degrees. Rich Kaye, the District Governor of Rotary District 5870, presented the members their pins. According to DG Kaye, this was the most PHFs awarded in District 5870 during the 2013-14 Rotary year. The Rotary Club of Giddings is going to claim the most ever PHFs presented in District 5870, until another club can prove otherwise. Individuals who have contributed more than $1000 to the Annual Program Fund, the Polio Plus Fund or the Humanitarian Grants Program of the Rotary Foundation are recognized as Paul Harris Fellows. Individuals also receive a + 1,2,3...for contributing additional $1000 amounts, up to + 8. The following individuals were recognized at each PHF level:

James & Joyce Arndt were specially recognized for their continued contributions to the Rotary Foundation. The Arndts are both major donors and have received their PHF+8 the maximum currently recognized. In addition, the club was awarded the prestigious 100% Paul Harris Fellows banner. A 100% Paul Harris Fellow Club, is awarded to clubs in which all dues-paying members are Paul Harris Fellows.
