THE T-E-A-C-H PROGRAM OF ROTARY INDIA LITERACY MISSION

The Rotary India Literacy Mission is an initiative of Rotary South Asia Society for Development

and Cooperation. RILM’s objectives are Total literacy and Quality Education in India. RILM has

designed a holistic program “T-E-A-C-H” where T stands for Teacher Support, E for E-learning,

A for Adult Literacy, C for Child Development and H for Happy Schools.

Our milestones over the last three years:

T-16,000 Teachers Trained,

E-12,000 schools provided with E-Learning facility,

A-73,000 Adults made Literate,

C-32,000 children being prepared to be sent back to school

H-1,500 schools transformed into Happy Schools.

All this has been possible because of the enthusiasm and hard work of the Rotarians across India.
