On Monday, June 8 at 6:30 PM, we will hold an online-only club meeting.  Our speaker will be Rebeca Hernandez-Gonzalez presenting on Brigher Bites.

Brighter Bites is a nonprofit that creates communities of health through fresh food with the goal of changing behavior among children and their families to prevent obesity and achieve long-term health. Rebeca will introduce the school-based work of Brighter Bites (they service Pecan Springs among many others) and how they adapted their program in March 2020 to address the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 outbreak. Please join us to learn more about their produce distributions, partnerships, and how they plan to continue serving our schools, families, and the greater Austin community throughout the summer and into the next school year.

Our meetings are now online using WebEx.
