On Monday, Nov 2 at 6:30 PM, we will hold an online-only club meeting.  Our speaker will be Ilana Redstone the creator of the YouTube series Beyond Bigots and Snowflakes (check out a few of these short clips before we meet!).

Dr Redstone is a professor of sociology at the University of Illinois and the founder of  Diverse Perspectives Consulting. During this presentation, Ilana will lead a discussion about how and why we (fail to) communicate across political and ideological divides on sensitive and controversial issues, including those that touch race and identity.

To read more of Dr Redstone's work, visit her site Diverse Perspectives Consulting or her many Conversations on Diversity in Forbes Magazine.
