Music Memory Program - Classical Listening for Fun
Mollie Tower will introduce us to a Made in Austin classical music listening program.  The Music Memory Program is an award-winning curriculum designed to promote an understanding of music using powerful techniques that combine aural experiences and visual memories.

The curriculum is an in-depth study of great composers,  their lives and their music. In grades 3 8, sixteen music selections are taught each year from the major historical periods - Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century and Contemporary. Prominent composers of orchestral, vocal, choral, and keyboard selections are featured. Background Information, Animated Listening Maps and Live Performance Videos help teach the featured selections.
