Francesca Fowler on Public Education

Our speaker is Francesca Fowler. She was born and raised in Austin, attended Sacred Heart Elementary, Pearce Junior High, LBJ high school, and UT Austin, where she earned a Bachelors In Education and a Masters in Education in five years as a single parent of one child.  She  just renewed her national board certification as a generalist in early childhood education for an additional ten years.  She has taught pre-kindergarten for twenty eight years in Austin, with the last twenty at Pecan Springs Elementary. She will be speaking on her experiences and the changes in public education at Pecan Springs.
