MAURO'S FAREWELL

Mauro, our Rotary exchange student from Brazil, attended his final weekly meeting before heading home after his time in Powell River. Senior member Kip Brown and International/Youth director Frieda Hamoline wished him well in the future. He received a Powell River tee shirt (his favourite colour grey) and a copy of Off the Beaten Path book full of photos of this area. Other club members wished him well during Happy and Sad Dollars, paying for the privilege, and after the meeting as well. He flies out of Vancouver on Tuesday, August 4, 2015.
