Temple Rotary Club's Bloomin' Half-Marathon and 5K

This will be a fun-filled Half-Marathon and 5K event that is held in conjunction with the Bloomin' Temple Festival.  It will be challenging for the seasoned runner while offering a great experience for the new aficionado to run/walk events.  All events start at the Whistle Stop Park next to the Santa Fe Deport on West Avenue B in Temple.  Parking is available at the Temple Municipal Parking Lot on Central Avenue, between North 3rd Street and Main Street (parking lot entrance is on Central Avenue).  Additional Parking is available at the Temple Public Library at 100 West Adams Avenue (parking lot entrance is on North 3rd Street).  The race routes take runners and walkers through Downtown Temple, the Historic District and some of Temple's best parks.  The Half Marathon starts at 7:30 AM.  The 5K starts at 8:00 AM.  Fees for the Half Marathon are $45 before April 15th, and $50 after April 15th.  After on-line registration closes or on race day the fee is $55.  Fees for the 5K before on-line registration closes are $25, and after on-line registration closes or on race day are $30.  May 1 is the T-shirt cut off date.  Register online at: http://www.active.com/temple-tx/running/distance-running-races/bloomin-temple-rotary-half-marathon-and-5k-2015-11836599?int=72-2-A6
