7:00AM - Meeting was opened with the signing of our national anthem, “Oh, Canada” and the Word of the Day.
7:05AM - Breakfast was served.
7:25AM - Introduction of guests Trevor Crean and John Berry from noon club, baby Olivia of the Freeman family, our new exchange student Franciele Henk and speaker, our District Governor, Bala Naidoo; Minutes at the Mic; Thank you to Kathy and the Boathouse for our new meeting place.
7:30AM - Roy received email from Australian friends, they are on a work visa looking for a rental near skytrain in New Westminster if you know anyone let Roy know.
7:32AM - Gill said Carlos from Salvation Army talked about school supplies to give to Gill to bring for Salvation Army's Backpack Program.
7:34AM - The reign of Queen Elizabeth II will break record of longest reigning monarch September 9, 2015. Join the Monarchist League outside City Hall September 9th at noon.
7:36AM – Happy Birthday Hansi
7:39AM – Tony collects Happy Dollar
7:44AM – Roy introduces our Speaker of the Day, Bala Naidoo
7:45AM - Our Speaker, Bala Naidoo, introduced himself on behalf of the new president of Rotary International, Ravi Ravindran, and his theme for the world, Be a Gift to the World.
7:58AM – Lizz thanked Bala and presented with our certificate.
8:00AM - President Gordon Hobbis closed with the Four Way Test and a Toast to the Queen by Rick.
