Our speaker tomorrow is Sheila Tschinkel, an Economist. She will be speaking to us about “Economic Issues Facing the United States”.
On Thursday, August 8 we will have NO MEETING. It will be replaced by the exciting Summer Outing to be held on Saturday, August 10 at Lake Burton from 12 to 6 PM. This will be a Family Outing (the type of outing many of you have asked for) so please bring your entire family and enjoy getting to know our members socially. Kent and his mother (Janet) will be graciously hosting the event for our club. More than likely everyone will be asked to bring a covered dish. Kent will address this tomorrow.
On Tuesday, August 13, Ruxanda Renita, our new GRSP student arrives at the airport. We currently have a scheduling conflict with our August Board Meeting.
On Thursday, August 15, Georgia State University, Department of Political Science Professor Rashid Naim will be speaking on “Sharia Law”.
On Thursday, August 22, Ruxanda Renita will be welcomed and make an Introductory Presentation so we can learn more about her and vice-versa.
On Thursday, August 29, Emory Professor, Dr. Faisal Khose will be speaking on the “Benefits and Side Effects of Imaging”.
These are some outstanding speakers so please make an effort to invite Prospective Members to hear them. Tomorrow be prepared to give us a list of your top 3-5 Prospective Member candidates which we will add to our list.
