North Atlanta Celebrates Four of its Outstanding Rotarians
Don Millen, RF Major Donor II and 58 Years of Service!
Don Millen has been a North Atlanta (formerly North DeKalb) Rotary Club member for 58 years. At a special Club recognition event Don was awarded a lifetime achievement award by the District and a Service Hero coin by DG Steve Ivory. Don was also recognized as a Rotary Foundation Major Donor Level II by PDG/DRFC Bob Hagan and DG Steve Ivory. He has been a huge service leader and has helped out so many people and organizations in our broader community with his generosity and selfless methods to get things done. Additionally, Don was recognized by the Club with its Greatest of All Time (GOAT) Award, presented by President Catherine Bernard. The impact Don has made over the decades of service both within the Club and within the community is immeasurable. Although Don has never been one to seek out recognition, we are compelled to acknowledge his abundance of shared time, wisdom and wealth in Service Above Self. Don has always been an exemplary Rotarian and Community Citizen.

We were honored to recognized three additional outstanding Club members for their generous giving to the Rotary Foundation, recognized as becoming Major Donors by PDG/DRFC Bob Hagan and DG Steve Ivory. Among other efforts, the generosity of these three Rotarians has been monumental in support of the North Atlanta Rotary's Global Grant project to prevent Spina Bifida defects in Ethiopia.
We are now in the third year of this five year project. Without the generosity of our club members, in particular these four recognized as Major Donors, we would not be able to accomplish all that we have accomplished , or hope to accomplish. Thank you!
