Here's a description of the various dictionaries delivered to Cary Reynolds Elementary School 3rd Graders:

198 Webster's English Encyclopedic Edition Dictionaries for children
24 Webster's Spanish English Dictionaries for children
16 Webster's Chinese English Dictionaries
plus several individual samples products from the "Dictionary Project" for the teachers to utilize (Thesaurus: synonyms & antonyms, How to use a Thesaurus, Webster's Rhyming Dictionary, Webster's Vocabulary Builder, and Webster's Thesaurus for Children)

Although the bulk of the dictionaries are intended for each third grader, as their own personal dictionary for use at school and home, the balance may be utilized by a 1% group - the newest immigrant children of any grade in the school, these students are beginning to learning english as a second language.

Also delivered were several (maybe 25) children's hard cover books for the library.  These are part of our ongoing "speaker's gift" literacy project where at each club meeting (generally weekly) we ask our speaker to sign one of these books with an inspirational message.  We give this "speakers gift" to the Cary Reynolds Elementary School library as a part of our Literacy program efforts.

North Atlanta Rotary will also be delivering dictionaries to High Tower Elementary as a part of the same program.
