Update: The presentation will be on Zoom. The presentation is an update on Shelterbox by Meg Schmeider including their efforts in Ukraine.

Author Bio:

Meg spent their younger years in a small town of 200 people called Grayson in the province of Saskatchewan and bring that small town hospitality with them wherever they go. Since then, they’ve completed their honours undergraduate degree in Ottawa at Carleton University in Public Affairs & Policy Management with a specialization in International Affairs.

The 3 years Meg has spent in Toronto have been busy organizing locally around climate change and food security. Meg embodies "think globally, act locally" through their involvement in Toronto food and water security programs, experience travelling internationally on trade missions, and their work with ShelterBox. Meg has been on the ShelterBox team for 7 months now and is excited to be working with amazing volunteers and Rotarians who all share the commitment of a world where everyone has access to shelter post disaster.
