33rd Annual Carlsbad Rotary Oktoberfest

Carlsbad Rotary Clubs invite you to join us for the 33rd Annual Oktoberfest, presented by ViaSat, on Saturday, October 3, at Holiday Park from noon – 10 pm!  Be a part of this Carlsbad premier tradition with thousands of your closest friends, family and neighbors for a day of food, fun and music. If the traditional German meal of brat and sausage with potato salad and sauerkraut doesn’t appeal to you, then go lighter with grilled chicken and delicious sides. Tempt your sweet tooth with apple strudel, kettle corn, and cotton candy!! DJ Efraim Nunez will kick off the day’s entertainment by spinning your favorite tunes followed by live bands starting with local favorites Faith Page, Bluebirds, and ending with The Last Call. Fill your day with Chicken dance performances, good eats and ice cold beers!! There will also be entertainment and fun activities for kids of all ages: including a photo booth, jumpy houses, a pumpkin patch where children can decorate pumpkins and much, much more. NEW this year is a “Festive Family”, “Fetching Fraulein”, and “Masculine Mann” costume contest.  Come dressed in your finest Oktoberfest ensemble to compete for prizes.  More than $1 million has been raised to support our two clubs’ scholarships programs and local charitable organizations providing needed services in the community.
